43rd Avenue North from Oakport St N to HWY 75 N will be closed to traffic starting Tuesday, May 15th for construction of flood mitigation improvements. The duration of the closure will be for approximately 7 weeks. Drivers should allow for delays and seek alternate routes during the closure.

Lane Closure - 11th St. South

|
11th Street South from 6th to 9th Avenue South will be reduced to one lane starting Tuesday, May 15th for building demolition in the 800 block of 11th Street South. The duration of the closure will be for approximately 1 week. Drivers should allow for delays and seek alternate routes during the closure.

Clay County Business Electronics and Fluorescent Bulb Collection

This spring Clay County, in conjunction with Retrofit Recycling Inc., will be organizing a business electronics and fluorescent bulb collection on Thursday, May 24, 2012. This collection is to give businesses an opportunity to recycle their electronics and fluorescent bulbs at a reduced rate. As always, Clay County residents can bring their spent fluorescent bulbs to the Clay County Household Hazardous Waste Facility located at 2729 Highway 10 East in Moorhead.

Campus Neighborhood Parking Study

The City of Moorhead commissioned a parking analysis in the area around Minnesota State University Moorhead, Concordia College and Eventide. Residents, property owners, students, employees, faculty, and others in the community shared their views and experiences regarding parking in this area through public meetings and a survey in February. The consultants report is posted here.
